Cat Fountains are Soothing

Been very happy with the 2 cat products we've purchased over the past year. We have rescue cats and like to try different things to enrich their lives.

They were making a mess with their old drinking fountain – hair and food – and it was hard to refill with fresh water. Saw the Catit Flower Water Fountain on a friend's Facebook page, read the reviews, watched the video of it in action, and ordered it. You can buy filters for it that keep the water clean and they are easy to keep flushed from any debris. There are a variety of ways to run the water through the fountain. You can set it to run on 3 different settings:

Ours flows like a brook but you can pretty much operate it silently based on the water level you maintain. It's very important cats drink enough per day to keep their kidneys healthy. Highly recommend.

We've been ordering items that cross our Facebook and Instagram feeds. So far, we've been very lucky that what we've bought has been good quality and meets the stores' descriptions. Recently, we saw this elevated cat bowl and it was something we'd been looking for but could not find. Our 7-year-old tortoiseshell cat, Zazzles, has been having a lot of issues with furballs and a little coughing. It's occurred to us before that cats eating in a prone position can't be good for them. Vain attempts to find a bowl solution at pet stores left us wondering if we'd ever find a better way to feed our cats. Two weeks ago this crossed our feed and we jumped on it! Zazzles was a little unsure at first but now she's started eating more meat in addition to her dry food. This tilted cat bowl has really made a difference in a short amount of time. You can hand wash the bowls or put them in the dishwasher. It's a joy to see them eating in a more comfortable position.
