Love Pop Flowers make beautifully crafted pop-up cards. Floral bouquets, stationery and sticker cards, Star Wars and Marvel and Disney-themed items. Made of paper, they are intricately laser cut and very detailed. This is a sponsored post on behalf of Love Pop. I received the product in exchange for this review but all opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way. This post contains affiliate links. I decided to do a video review so you can really see them vs. only on their website. I specifically asked for the Cherry Blossom card since I’ve become low-key obsessed with this flower after reading about it in backdrops of book scenes,…

West Elm at Ponce City Market is a feast for the eyes. Loving design and home decor as I do, wandering the store is an activity too tempting to pass up. We stayed overnight in midtown Atlanta this past Saturday and visited Ponce City Market. Hadn’t been in 3 years so long over due. It was overwhelming to see all of the color combinations and fabrics and the sheer flow of the store’s staging. I met a very nice staff member named Jessica who talked with me about the great job their merchandisers do. Couldn’t agree more. What follows is a pictorial essay of our visit.

April is Earth Month, and even if you practice recycling all year and use eco-friendly products, it’s a time to reflect on what more we can do in the world. I’m certainly no Greta Thurnberg, but I try to do little things to make a difference. Recently, Etsy.com sent out information in their partner newsletter about the many ways they try to support Mother Earth. I was pleasantly surprised and unaware of what they do. I thought it might be interesting to share with all of the Etsy lovers who read our blog. In 2019, Etxy became the first global eCommerce company to completely offset carbon emissions from shipping. https://youtu.be/qq3wGeYzzsg In their own words: “we must hold ourselves to an…

I love flowers. Giving, receiving, walking in gardens, and those you see at the grocery store or market. The colors and the smells all make me happy. I work hard to make each floral bouquet last when I receive them by changing the water to removing withered stems to help freshen the flowers left in the arrangement. It gives me joy to have them around as long as possible, and then I keep a collection of vases. Credit to: A Homebody’s Adventures blog My friend and fellow blogger, Christina, has a fabulous post about DIY floral bouquets. She originally posted it as a Valentine’s Day feature, however, you can easily adapt it for ANY occasion like Easter (it’s not too late!) or Mother’s Day. Or drop it off at a friend’s house as a sweet surprise. Everyone needs fun surprises in their life! I wanted to share her how-to steps…

I love creating centerpieces around my house. All over my house on end tables, coffee tables, and bookcases, you’ll find vignettes arranged with stacked books, candles and candle holders, pictures, key pieces. Vignettes can be arranged on any surface, however, a centerpiece is the focal point or center of a table. Creating centerpieces is one of my favorite hobbies. Holidays are the most fun. In an upcoming post, I’ll cover how to do these step by step along with tablescapes. Here’s my current Valentine’s Day design. I used a round metal and wood tray I searched high and low for and found at a local At Home store. I’d originally hunted it down for a Thanksgiving centerpiece but have since used it for Christmas and Valentine’s. St. Patrick’s Day will probably be next. Candle holders are my big love so I included 3 of varying sizes in different finishes for…

Valentine’s Day is for lovers, friends, and families, including furry ones. Popped into a local Homegoods store today to check out what’s available for the holiday. The mix of red, yellow, and pink colors made me happy so I snapped images of what I liked to use as a little visual post. A kickoff to more as we move towards the month of February. [envira-gallery id=’7217′] [envira-gallery id=’7227′] [envira-gallery id=’7232′] I have yet to understand the appeal of the gnomes in all seasonal decorations? Can anyone explain why? When did they start mixing in with every holiday and who’s buying them? Curious.

Instagram is a huge social media tool today and used for pretty much everything from someone’s vacation shots to a lifestyle blog’s updates. As we scroll through feeds to see what we like, we don’t think about why a page pops up more than others because we just want to see what’s out there to inspire us. Where should we travel, eat, shop, and explore? But, there is a method to the scrolling madness. If you are part of the Instagram world and you’re the one posting, then you also have a strong desire to make your posts count. You put a lot of work into scouting out ideas and the best places and things to showcase so you want…
