I love creating centerpieces around my house. All over my house on end tables, coffee tables, and bookcases, you'll find vignettes arranged with stacked books, candles and candle holders, pictures, key pieces. Vignettes can be arranged on any surface, however, a centerpiece is the focal point or center of a table. Creating centerpieces is one of my favorite hobbies. Holidays are the most fun. In an upcoming post, I'll cover how to do these step by step along with tablescapes. Here's my current Valentine's Day design.

A round tin tray as a centerpiece filled with glittered red hearts and colorful bead necklaces and lights.

I used a round metal and wood tray I searched high and low for and found at a local At Home store. I'd originally hunted it down for a Thanksgiving centerpiece but have since used it for Christmas and Valentine's. St. Patrick's Day will probably be next. Candle holders are my big love so I included 3 of varying sizes in different finishes for an eclectic look. Added Mardi Gras bead necklaces in sliver, red, purple, and pink colors along with 2 strands of clear lights.

Table centerpiece with candle holders, candles, a round tin tray with beads, lights.

Scattered heart filler decorations in the tin and the last addition was a string of large light up hearts.

Metal round tray filled with strings of lights lit up in a dark room.
