So, we did a little research and found 5 things to tell you about – an ugly holiday sweater, advent calendar, Christmas tree, an ornament or bauble, and a dinner sure to satisfy a true epicurean. Personally, we’d take the advent calendar as you’ll read below how special it is. Let’s dive in and see what you could buy if money were no object during Christmas. Some of these things are from 2021 and others from the past according to our research. Most Expensive Advent Calendar In 2021, this Advent calendar weighs a huge 108 pounds and costs $10M+. Christmas lights are one of the best parts of the holiday season. Our family has a tradition of getting in the car after dinner and driving around to see favorite light displays from each year and discovering new ones. People can be so creative and put up lights in their yards or join with neighbors to make even bigger lighting events. It’s fun when they add music and you can listen to it in your car. Don’t ask me how they do this because I have no idea! Quite a few of the families who host the light displays raise money and donations for non-profits like the Make a Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots, and food pantries. One family raised over $11,000+ in monetary donations last year! Fantastic. We’re talking about some of the neighborhoods with lights here in Atlanta and surrounding counties including 6 we personally visit every single…

I love creating centerpieces around my house. All over my house on end tables, coffee tables, and bookcases, you’ll find vignettes arranged with stacked books, candles and candle holders, pictures, key pieces. Vignettes can be arranged on any surface, however, a centerpiece is the focal point or center of a table. Creating centerpieces is one of my favorite hobbies. Holidays are the most fun. In an upcoming post, I’ll cover how to do these step by step along with tablescapes. Here’s my current Valentine’s Day design. I used a round metal and wood tray I searched high and low for and found at a local At Home store. I’d originally hunted it down for a Thanksgiving centerpiece but have since used it for Christmas and Valentine’s. St. Patrick’s Day will probably be next. Candle holders are my big love so I included 3 of varying sizes in different finishes for…
