This is a sponsored post on behalf of Storiarts.com. I received the product in exchange for my review but all opinions are my own and not influenced in any way. Being the literature lover that I am, I couldn’t help but be intrigued when I spotted a coffee called Gothic Roast while surfing the Storiarts.com site one day. I’m a fan of their literary items and check their site periodically to see what’s new. They take literary quotes and passages and print them on everything from t-shirts to scarves to blankets and home goods. And then, apparently coffee. I’ve reviewed 3 of their products in the past so I asked them if I could do the same with their new coffee. My suggestion was that I try it with 3 friends as a tasting. They liked the idea and kindly sent their product. The company’s description of their coffee: Our…
The Sleeper BY EDGAR ALLAN POE At midnight, in the month of June,I stand beneath the mystic moon.An opiate vapor, dewy, dim,Exhales from out her golden rim,And softly dripping, drop by drop,Upon the quiet mountain top,Steals drowsily and musicallyInto the universal valley. The rosemary nods upon the grave; The lily lolls upon the wave;Wrapping the fog about its breast,The ruin moulders into rest;Looking like Lethe, see! the lakeA conscious slumber seems to take,And would not, for the world, awake. All Beauty sleeps!—and lo! where liesIrene, with her Destinies! Oh, lady bright! can it be right—This window open to the night? The wanton airs, from the tree-top,Laughingly through the lattice drop—The bodiless airs, a wizard rout,Flit through thy chamber in and out,And wave the curtain canopySo fitfully—so fearfully—Above the closed and fringéd lid’Neath which thy slumb’ring soul lies hid,That, o’er the floor and down the wall,Like ghosts the shadows rise and fall!Oh, lady dear, hast thou…

My Storiarts tee shirt review was fun. I love tee shirts with a good saying on them. It’s a hobby to collect them and everyone needs a hobby. And, if the purchase of one goes to a good cause even better! This is a sponsored post on behalf of Storiarts.com. I received the product in exchange for this review but all opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way. The company takes literary quotes and showcases them on products for your home, shirts, baby blankets, scarves, headbands, and more. We reviewed their shirts initially when we first discovered them, however, that post was mainly about the variety in shirts and the good cause their company donates to (read about it at the end of this post). A partially abandoned building stood on a wide block of real estate on historic Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta for decades. It had been through numerous reincarnations. Vandalized and in major disrepair, it stood. I’d pass it several times a day going to work, and then later shopping or riding with my kiddos. I saw it as a hulking behemoth with an Atlanta police station and lots of broken windows next to what was known as the “Murder Kroger” for reasons evident in its name. Only a few not a lot, but I digress. Development came along “Ponce”, and Ponce City Market was born. Even after celebrating my 50th birthday on the rooftop at the market, I still cannot believe it’s there born out of the messy place that it was. This post contains affiliate links. Father’s Day means so much to the men who love and support us every day. A “father” doesn’t have to necessarily only be a biological one as he can be any figure in your life. The one who tells you that you can do it not matter the odds. Your cheerleader even if he’s a quiet one. We like to celebrate with lunch, a gift, and a card in our family. You may have the same tradition or maybe you host a pool party or barbeque for your Father’s Day event. We found 9 awesome dad gifts on Amazon with a range of price points. The first 3 gifts we discovered from an Esquire Magazine Father’s Day gift guide, and the remaining 6 we found. Our posts may sometimes contain affiliate links.
