Jennifer Graham
I’m a mother of 3 boys, George, Jack, and Tom. Living in Atlanta, Georgia, actually a town in Gwinnett county. I didn’t grow up a small town girl. Always wanted to live in a small town and do now. We enjoy exploring where we live, greater Atlanta, and places nearby. I enjoy shopping and going to events and especially take pleasure in sharing what I like about these things. I love staying busy with my friends and having local adventures, although I intend to travel globally in our future. Building plans one day at a time. The boys and I will get there.
Why call my blog “Poe in Wonderland”? I love the light and the dark, serious and absurd, and dichotomies. I married a conservative looking accountant who turned out to own an indie music label and is a die hard Monty Python and Who fan. I had to learn what shoe-gazing music was!
I am a minimalist dresser yet have multi
colored hair (currently chrome, pink, and purple) and change it every 6 weeks. When you look
at my arms from the front, you see unmarked skin but when I turn my arms over
you see tattoos. I’ve loved Edgar Allan Poe and Alice in Wonderland for most of
my life. From the minute I discovered their existence. My mom used to read to
me from an Alice book that I still have. It’s well worn and dated 1976 and is a
precious possession. My house is decorated with Poe. There’s a bust of him, a gorgeous
custom wreath made with the raven theme, candles, books, and photographs of my
visits to Poe events and museums. Cannot get enough. Movies and books where a
main character harbors good and bad fascinate me. Which will win. ‘Course it’s
more satisfying if good wins in the end.
