Goats on the Roof in Tiger, Georgia, is fun for all ages. Travel north outside Atlanta towards the mountains, and you’ll happen upon GOTR on your left. Can’t miss goats standing on roofs! We first read about it years ago in a parenting magazine but never went. This post contains affiliate links. You’ll also pass the bus graveyard on your way to the goat attraction. It’s a big collection of abandoned buses that have now been artistically decorated and adorned. But, we digress. The goats venue sits on a corner on the way into the town of Tiger. You pull into a gravel parking lot and you can clearly see all the goats mulling about…
West Elm at Ponce City Market is a feast for the eyes. Loving design and home decor as I do, wandering the store is an activity too tempting to pass up. We stayed overnight in midtown Atlanta this past Saturday and visited Ponce City Market. Hadn’t been in 3 years so long over due. It was overwhelming to see all of the color combinations and fabrics and the sheer flow of the store’s staging. I met a very nice staff member named Jessica who talked with me about the great job their merchandisers do. Couldn’t agree more. What follows is a pictorial essay of our visit.

American Branding Designs has made two tumblers I adore. One a good friend gave me one day during the pandemic. It was a gift out of the blue and really lifted my spirits. The second one was an item I saw on their site and knew I had to have it. You know the feeling. They create unique designs on their site and do customization too. This post contains affiliate links. Bring joy to your home with your art. Walking into someone’s home is a treat. I enjoy seeing how they display their interests and passions through their décor, and especially items around the house that show who they are. Portraits of their families and friends, paintings they curate, sayings they’ve hung around the kitchen or house – a window to silently tell you things about your friends. My house is full of random, eclectic items that are hung carefully to be in harmony despite their different genres. Jennifer Graham Photography I collect paintings from local Atlanta artists like R. Land. I have 2 of his pieces, Lost Cat and Speckles. My favorite artist is George Rodrigue from Louisiana. I am fortunate to have one of his screen paintings in my den where it is prominently displayed. He created it on September 11, 2001, to immediately raise funds for the victims…
