I love books and fireplaces and naturally putting them together is a favorite aethetic in any house we live in. Our last house had a fireplace grate in it, and I was not willing to keep cleaning out ash. I really wanted gas logs and finally got them with our new house. I decorated the former fireplace with a black barbeque spray which was a good choice for any new owners of our house, and I displayed books and candles as decor. It was awesome as an everyday look and for Halloween plus Christmas. I put a Santa hat on the skulls.
