My third and last post on traveling and staying at the Howard Finster Paradise Garden in Summerville, Georgia is about my night tour. I have tips on visiting and photographs of the awesome experience of being in an artist's studio and seeing his work in the pitch dark. Definitely one for the books!

Tips on the Night Tour
- You have to stay overnight at the Garden Air BnB to gain access.
2. Bring a flashlight. When they say you can have full access at any hour, they mean it. You unlock a padlock at the big gate – in the dark. Dark. I only had my camera and my cellphone with me. Luckily, I had enough battery to use my phone's flashlight. It wasn't much and hard to juggle with a big camera around your neck. I was on the grounds for almost an hour and a half and my cell light almost died out. Scooted through locking the padlocked gate just in time. Biggest tip – bring a flashlight.
3. Watch your step because there's an uneven sidewalk and at times no sidewalk except paving stones. Also, if you're lucky, you might get a cat escort. Two cats live on-site – Calvin and Hobbes. Hobbes (with the bobtail) accompanied me the entire time and was an excellent host.
4. If you hear a disembodied voice, it's not a ghost. It freaked me out for quite a bit until I realized what it was. There's a video shown – maybe all night – about the artist. It plays in the long gallery.
5. Check out the shed with all of the strange, bizarre objects that he must've used in his art.
6. Have fun and take lots of pictures!

*If you book suite #1 (I think) at the Finster Air BnB, you can bring pets.
Amazing long outdoor gallery.
I'll go back to hang out there since I am a HUGE fan of folk and outsider art. I hope you've enjoyed the 3 posts about this place and get the chance to visit yourself.
