It’s that wonderful time of year when there’s a crispness in the air and all the ghoulies come out to celebrate Halloween. Here in Atlanta there are two fun parades that will put you in the holiday spirit. The Decatur Haints and Saints parade and the Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and parade. The Placita Latina Day of the Dead/Haints and Saints Parade will be on Sunday, October 30th, in downtown Decatur. They will start at the Bell Street entrance of the Decatur Cemetery and wind their way through the streets to the courthouse. It’s a tradition that started with one man. “Decatur is rich with parade history beginning way back in 1899 with Maury Mable.
