This week's MM is about a wonderfully funny Instagram group called “Skeleton Shenanigans”. The administrator for the group is Amanda Terry. Skeleton Shenanigans is an Instagram takeover every other Friday at 7:00 PM CST.

Can you explain when it runs and what it is?

Skeleton Shenanigans is a group of people who get together from the beginning of September until the end of October. We post photos of our Skeletons doing Shenanigans around our homes. Each person also has a name for their Skeleton. I have 2 and their names are Scarlyn Monroe and Skelvis Presley. It is a lot of fun and the group really enjoyed the shenanigans last season. This year we have grown and have more members who are participating. I came up with this idea because I wanted to do something fun and different. We laugh every Friday night and really enjoy seeing everyone's skeletons.

How did you get started with the group?

So Skeleton Shenanigans came to me 2 years ago when I found a skeleton at Walmart. I video-taped myself in the car hanging out with my new friend. I got a lot of laughs and responses that day. I started sharing my skeleton doing funny stuff around my home and received lots of positive feedback. It just came to me that I could start a group and other people could join me. Skeleton Shenanigans was born. I told the idea to a very good friend of mine who was getting bullied in a tour. I told her to leave that tour and we would start our own group. It would be full of fun and we would laugh and laugh. I just can’t believe that there are like-minded people who have skeletons and just want to have fun. My husband laughs when I tell him my group has grown to over 350 people. It is amazing and I enjoy it so much. The relationships that I formed last year are still going strong with each of the ladies who originally participated. I can’t wait to see all of our new member's shenanigans and I am looking forward to Friday nights.
