Cindy’s Dragonfly is a fun, creative garden and gift shop in Dillard, Georgia. Located on the side of 441 Hwy N in the north Georgia mountains. We actually stopped by one weekend before they opened for the season and they were gracious enough to let me in. I was happy since we were celebrating my birthday and shopping was a must. We don’t have a big back yard but I’m slightly obsessed with yard art. Photo Credit: Jennifer Graham Lots of creative, metal garden art. We can personally attest to how well they’ve worked. Bluehost builds its brand on making your experience as seamless as possible. The…

Tortoiseshell cats are known as “the divas” of the cat world. You’ll hear them go by the name “Tortie” and they’re quite beautiful and captivating with their colors. A long time ago, I didn’t consider them much at all. I’d seen pictures and one here and there in an animal shelter I volunteered with for 11 years. However, the torties weren’t ones I ever thought I’d bring home. Everything changed in 2014 when our beloved older kitty passed away. We didn’t make it two weeks without deciding to adopt a pair of adult cats. And, that’s how Zazzles entered our life. This post contains affiliate links. Ten good things I’ve experienced end of January and half of February are here. I was making an effort to post about five things every week, but I’ve fallen down on the job. Time to get back up. I’m hoping anyone reading my good things will record theirs either in a journal or post. We need happy things these days as we move forward in 2021. Photo Credit: Laurie Williamson (his mom) Spike Williamson is my buddy. Known him for at least 7 years or so. He’s feisty and will act like you’re meeting for the first time every time you see him outdoors. However, if you go into his house and sit on a sofa, he’s your best friend, especially if belly rubs are included. His mom, Laurie, and I walk once or twice a week. It’s kept us sane and active during this neverending pandemic. There are days…

How to Set Up an Easy Dessert Bar by Sarah at ThatLemonadeLife.com Have you heard of dessert bars before? I’ve seen them at big parties and always thought what a great idea! A dessert bar is basically a big smorgasbord of different desserts for people to choose what they want. But what’s also great about dessert bars, is that you can make them as big or as small…

I love creating centerpieces around my house. All over my house on end tables, coffee tables, and bookcases, you’ll find vignettes arranged with stacked books, candles and candle holders, pictures, key pieces. Vignettes can be arranged on any surface, however, a centerpiece is the focal point or center of a table. Creating centerpieces is one of my favorite hobbies. Holidays are the most fun. In an upcoming post, I’ll cover how to do these step by step along with tablescapes. Here’s my current Valentine’s Day design. I used a round metal and wood tray I searched high and low for and found at a local At Home store. I’d originally hunted it down for a Thanksgiving centerpiece but have since used it for Christmas and Valentine’s. St. Patrick’s Day will probably be next. Candle holders are my big love so I included 3 of varying sizes in different finishes for…
