Fall is the time of year we gather inside with friends and family to share food and drinks by a fire, a table, or while watching a football game. The holidays are fast approaching and swapping gossip or stories over drinks is a favorite past time. In 2020, we might be getting together in smaller groups or sharing our news over Zoom, and we can enjoy some fall cocktail recipes to go along with these occasions. You might serve hot tea with a twist or pour from a pitcher full of spiced sangria, but whatever drinks you choose let them be delicious ones! We've found 5 worthy recipes that are easy to make and could become your new favorite. Fall cocktails are here and we're thinking it's 5 0'clock somewhere!
I love vodka. It's the main alcoholic ingredient in most of my cocktails. I hadn't run across a tea infused one though until I saw this drink from My Life as a Mrs. blog. I will be making this one, in fact, I already ordered vanilla vodka! I love her description of the recipe:
I happen to love chai tea. I did a little research and “chai” is a generic word for tea used in eastern countries. Chai tea is simply a spiced tea steeped in water and milk and sweetened. The flavor profile of chai tea is so comforting and the addition of the cream makes it so silky. Sounds good, right? Well, I wanted to take it to the next level so I spiked it with vanilla vodka and amaretto. Mission accomplished. The soft vanilla notes and sweet nutty almond flavor compliment the chai tea perfectly.
Looks like a winner if you like apple cider. By the way, if you're ever in Bat Cave, NC, there's an awesome little store called the Old Cider Mill and Gift Shop where they sell fantastic cider.
White Russians are one of my favorites and fall is a great time of year to enjoy them. If I wasn't already sold on this idea, Jill's (Kitchen Fun) description would've reeled me in:
You are going to absolutely love this great Pumpkin White Russian Cocktail recipe. A classic vodka and Kahlua combination is updated with some pumpkin creamer and puree to create an all-new version of a favorite cocktail.
Thought you might need a change of pace from vodka so I threw gin drinkers a recipe. And last but not least, we have another seasonal sangria from flavour & savour.

I love a good serving tray that you can use for drinks or even stack books on.
As Pink would say, “Raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways”, and have fun with your family and friends this season. Savor the warmth and love of home.
