10 Best Neighborhoods to See Christmas Lights in Atlanta

Christmas on Amberwood
Lawrenceville sits northeast of the center of Atlanta and is a cool neighborhood for Christmas fun, particularly thanks to a group of houses that not only decorate but incorporate interactive activities for families. Kids can play on a variation of inflatables, and an extremely authentic Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be out and about to take lists, wishes and pictures. The neighborhood event is known as Christmas on Amberwood.

Christmas in Castille
After taking a year off, this show is back and bigger than ever. Weather permitting, this synchronized show runs from Nov. 29th to Dec. 22nd from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays. Located in a gated neighborhood, guests must exit prior to the gates closing for the evening, but you'll be glad you went when you tune in to 89.9 FM and realize that the lights dance to the music on your radio! Be sure to check the Facebook page for inclement weather updates or other changes in hourly operations before you go!
4220 Tivoli Way, Alpharetta

Brookhaven
One of our favorites is a house in Brookhaven. Located at the corner of Peachtree Dunwoody and Winall Downs, it has probably 125+ inflatables! Be prepared to park and walk down a line of cars to see it because it's a popular one. It's a lot of fun to see how many inflatables there are celebrating Christmas and the holidays. Hold on to your little ones hands since the street can be lined on both sides with cars and more and more drive by. Worth the trip.

  1. Great post! We drove around our neighborhood tonight before dinner just to enjoy the lights around our house, but these are superb! We may need to travel around a bit more to see some of these. Thanks!
