STANDS is once again teaming up with the cast and crew of Supernatural for a great cause. Supernatural’s stars regularly use show logos and characters in STANDS merchandise to support non-profits and communities. In the past, they’ve raised money for hunger, hurricane relief, pandemic support, and suicide awareness. Kim Rhodes who played Sheriff Jody Mills for several seasons has teamed up to promote these awesome shirts in addition to more merchandise, this campaign's proceeds will help support an equine-therapy organization. It is a campaign though so sales for this shirt are limited. Buy yours today! I did.
Supernatural is the longest running series on the CW network and gave us 15 amazing seasons. It is hands down my absolute favorite show. I’ve purchased quite a bit of their partner STANDS merchandise over the years and been really pleased with it.
I want to point out that I have no affiliation with Stands other then the fact I love their merchandise. I like to post their promotions because I personally shop with the site and love the shirts I’ve purchased.

Support Your Local Murder? What are we talking about here? It's a play on words and imagery. The average person might be appalled and think you literally mean “murder”, but you don't. Crows in a group are called by the ancient term “A Murder of Crows”. It's a fun way tie-in with the theme of the show itself.
What’s a murder of crows?
A group of crows is called a “murder.” There are several different explanations for the origin of this term, mostly based on old folk tales and superstitions.
For instance, there is a folktale that crows will gather and decide the capital fate of another crow.
Many view the appearance of crows as an omen of death because ravens and crows are scavengers and are generally associated with dead bodies, battlefields, and cemeteries, and they’re thought to circle in large numbers above sites where animals or people are expected to soon die.
But the term “murder of crows” mostly reflects a time when groupings of many animals had colorful and poetic names. Other fun examples of “group” names include: an ostentation of peacocks, a parliament of owls, a knot of frogs, and a skulk of foxes. Source: PBS Nature
A portion of merchandise proceeds will help to support Ebony Horsewomen, Inc. Ebony Horsewomen’s “mission is to empower youth and guide them toward successful lives through the use of the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning-(EAGALA) model. We use equine-assisted therapy and therapeutic riding, along with educational programs, to cultivate leaders, prevent risky behaviors, and encourage academic achievement.” They also offer a program to assist veterans. Horses can be calming, healing animals to help with PTSD and other emotional needs.
Stands is a community created by people like you, for you. We are an online merchandising portal with a charitable twist. Founded in 2015 by a handful of like minded individuals who believed that by harnessing the voice of actors and the power of fandom, we could change the world. And so, together with you and your friends, we set out to do it. And we are.
How does this work?
It’s simple! An actor/public figure collaborates with an artist (often a fan artist) to create a design that speaks to their personality, a popular role, and/or their charity of choice. We then provide this art to you on a hat, a shirt, a mug, jewelry, a piece of fruit, the side of a sweet 1965 Mustang… you get the idea. A portion of all proceeds go to charity, so with Stands, fans are empowered to actually use their fandom love to help benefit a cause that they and their faves care about.
